deltatre at IBC 2013 with ‘Second Screen to Multi-Screen’ Sports experience

by Press Office

Sport and digital broadcast services market leader deltatre will be at the IBC in Amsterdam.

On Civolution’s stand (2.A41), deltatre will showcase a range of next-generation broadcast digital services solutions including their leading product Diva with a demo focusing on the ‘from Second Screen to Multi-Screen’ experience by Carlo De Marchis, deltatre’s Chief Product Officer.

With the multiplication of channels on which fans can follow sport events, the advanced experience created by Diva embraces the evolution of the digital landscape and goes beyond Second Screen solutions. Enhanced with Civolution’s powerful audio watermarking technology, deltatre’s cutting-edge video player creates an immersive scenario for fans to watch and experience sports, anytime and on every device. Diva integrates Civolution’s SyncNow ACR technology by perfectly syncing Second Screen offerings and maximising viewer engagement more efficiently.

IBC 2013

As part of IBC’s Workflow Solutions program, deltatre’s Commercial Director, Jim Irving, will outline how cloud based post-production tools from deltatre and Forbidden Technologies are reducing turnaround times and costs in the global sports industry. Additionally, demonstrations of the Magma tool to create cutting-edge graphics within FORscene will be exhibited at the Forbidden Technologies stand (7.J15d) throughout the conference.

deltatre will also be part of The Business of Broadcasting and Media panel discussion entitled ‘Producing More with Less: The Rise of Remote Production’ chaired by Ken Kerschbaumer, Editorial Director at Sports Video Group. Panelists will comment on the viability and future of centralized production facilities as a strategy to combat resource limitations.

If you are interested in finding out more about the above topics or on how broadcasters can capitalise on the multiscreen experience, deltatre representatives will also be present at the Elemental booth (4.B75) to discuss next-generation video workflow solutions such as Diva, Magma and FastLogger.
