In September, Norway’s largest commercial television broadcaster TV 2 announced their agreement to have sport media technology firm deltatre power the official digital coverage of the upcoming 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.
Today, TV 2 is celebrating the launch of the deltatre’s Desktop Browser online at: http://www.tv2.no/sport/ol/
The enhanced site sections are built on Podium and feature rich live sports information including Medals, Country and Live Now widgets. Additionally, deltatre has integrated some of the Diva features in TV 2’s proprietary video player to deliver synchronised data and video, which engages users with live event information interactively as they enjoy their favorite sports.
Accompanying the Winter Games’ comprehensive coverage, deltatre will also provide the Norwegian broadcaster with the Official TV 2 Apps for smartphones and tablets (Android, iOS) including all website functionality as well as customisable alerts, news and photos.
