deltatre, the sports media and technology firm, is following up its extensive work during the FIFA World Cup with an exciting new project providing broadcast graphics for the Guinness International Champions Cup.
The second year of the fiercely contested eight team football tournament will take place in 13 different cities across North America from July, 24th to August, 4th.
It is owned and organised by New York based Relevent Sports, whilst its Hong Kong based sister company Catalyst Media Group, manage all television related aspects around the tournament, including the worldwide exploitation of the media rights.
Services include creating a vibrant on-screen brand, title sequence and music composition, along with the design and build of TV graphics. This is the first collaboration for deltatre and Catalyst Media Group, the Hong Kong based company that acquires, creates and develops Asian and other international sports and entertainment properties.
In order to share graphics files in a user friendly way, deltatre built an extranet to deliver these graphics to Rights holding broadcasters via a secure login. It displays a list of assets with a preview image and is categorised by graphic type; full frame or lower third, and can be downloaded individually or collectively as needed.
The Guinness International Champions Cup will be broadcast in the UK on Sky Sports and will feature eight of Europe’s greatest football teams including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, A.C Milan, Inter Milan, Roma and Olympiacos F.C. deltatre’s work will be seen in multiple territories around the globe.
