SPORTEL and Deltatre announce the five start-ups shortlisted to pitch at the annual sport innovation competition in Monaco. A mix of live sports storytelling, social media tools and VR development propositions have made it to the final selection and will all be on stage on October 25th.
The Pitch Shortlist 2016:
An instant live messaging application dedicated to fans, with fun and easy to use features to express and share emotions with friends watching a match in front of the TV as at the stadium.
A game-changing VR company that uses powerful visual storytelling to transport fans to faraway lands and places you can only dream about.
A live content publishing solution for the sports industry. It generates real-time content on social media platforms to develop fan engagement, boost social audience, drive brand visibility and generate more revenue during live sports events.
A platform to drive fan engagement during sport and music live events. It captures the best fan reactions and delivers photos in real-time.
Cloud-based tools to create and share videos for sport entities. Tellyo can create and edit videos from live broadcast content, using the best moments for real-time publishing across all social channels.
The start-ups will present their business ideas and will be be quizzed, then ultimately critiqued, by a judging panel of key players and decision makers from the technology and sport sectors. Of these competing start-ups, two will progress to the semi-finals with the winner being announced on the day.
The winning company will receive networking advice from industry executives at Deltatre at the convention, as well as free access to next year’s SPORTELMonaco 2017 to get unique commercial visibility and further opportunities for investment.
