Deltatre inks deal to provide cloud editing service to the European Tour

Remote cloud editing enables efficient production of high quality custom content.

Deltatre, a global sports media services company, announced that it will continue its successful working relationship with the European Tour with a new agreement that will see the two companies work together through 2019.

Under the terms of the agreement, Deltatre will provide a cloud based editing service which will facilitate the European Tour’s News Service by providing a cost effective way to quickly produce high quality custom content.

Since 2009, Deltatre and the European Tour have enjoyed a successful and productive relationship spanning a variety of projects, including website design, hosting, and maintenance, interactive storytelling and live blogging. Over the next three years, Deltatre’s cloud editing service will provide the European Tour with a team of remotely-based, highly skilled production staff to create custom content for its web and broadcast properties.

The ability to edit content in the cloud translates to a significant cost reduction for rights holders as production staff can work from anywhere, rather than going on-venue. Deltatre has seen an increase in demand for their cloud production services as more and more clients recognize the benefits of cloud technology.
