Beppe Capella
After a long journey of over 20 years that took him through many exciting experiences in the ICT world and in real life, Beppe is finally back to his first passion: Sport and Technology. As a hippy graduate in Computer Science, Beppe started working in autumn 1980 as a freelancer in timing and data services for the Alpine Ski World Cup and Formula 1 races, like many of the d3 pioneers. After using GW-Basic and Assembler, he was eager for more technological challenges and started his adventure in the more ‘serious’ software engineering world. Fortran. PASCAL, ADA, C and C++ were the tools; Compiler, Inter-process/Network Communication, interrupts and memory handling, case tools and middleware the challenges; with Ivrea, Salem New Hampshire, Boston area and Milan the locations. Back in Italy in the 90s he co-founded “Newton”, a company to explore the emerging Internet world. At the same time he found the time to setup a family, Beppe is married with a young daughter. In 2000, after being the Y2K program manager of Fiat Auto for all the factory plants and services worldwide, he joined deltatre to support and manage the passage of the company from a sport services company to becoming one of the world leaders in sport ICT solutions. He has played rugby for more than 20 years, and would also like to have more time for skiing, rowing and travelling with his family.

During that period he worked in collaboration with primary consultancy companies as a key user on the implementation of ERP Oracle and as the internal reference person on BPR and logistics re-engineering projects. He has been a deltatre employee since 2003 as Financial Controller and since 2006 as HR Manager. Over these years he has focused on the implementation of the new ERP Sap Business One, the reorganization of control procedures, the support of the deltatre Group internationalization, and the co-ordination of risk management activities. He is a strong believer in the development of personal qualities and skills put into practice along proper business processes; the challenge is the shift from theory to reality.
Carlo De Marchis
Carlo aka "cdm" is the CTO responsible for Strategy and Solutions in deltatre. He has worked for deltatre for over 20 years and has participated in every step of its impressive growth. He enjoyed the magic of traveling worldwide following the various sport events during the early '90s and then moved to shape the software architectures and guide the technology paradigm of the deltatre solutions. He has facilitated deltatre’s entry into the web race in the early years - around 1994 - and guided the company into becoming the solution provider of the top sport websites worldwide. Creative, unorthodox, and communicative, cdm enjoys shaping web sites, shooting photos and publishing them on flickr, buying music on iTunes, horse riding in real life.
Gianluigi Guida
Gianluigi, aka "ggl", became passionate of software when, at the age of 16, wrote his first program for the Commodore VIC20. Since then he kept designing software, from device drivers in Assembler for ATMs to Terminal Emulators in C-Language to Electronic Trading Gateways in Java, always experiencing new technologies as they became available. Systems based on software he designed are still being used in trading centers of major banks across all Europe to handle multimillion bond gross trades, as well as in the deltatre Sport-CMS engine. Co-founder of “Newton” with “Beppe”, began working with deltatre in 2001 contributing to the design of their software platforms. He liked so much the working environment and technical challenge that eventually decided to accept the opportunity to play as Chief Software Architect in the international sport business arena. He loves playing and travelling with his two wonderful daughters. Keeping himself highly focused on technology do not leave much time for other things he would like to do like fishing, chess and table tennis. According to unconfirmed rumors he is addicted to techno-gadgets.
