Broadcast

At the core of our solution is the management of competition data. deltatre can either manage the gathering of the data through our bespoke data gathering tools, including the deltatre Match Results System (d3MRS) with features like our state-of-the-art live tracking system and the deltatre Central Results System (d3CRS) or integrate with third-party data sources. For data gathering, we have long-standing experience collecting competition data for sport, having worked closely with leading stakeholders in football, rugby, athletics, skiing and multi-sport events. Similarly, we have integrated with many of the main third-party data services in the world, including ORIS, PA Sport, etc.

TV Graphics

As one of deltatre’s core areas of expertise, TV graphics services compose a prominent part of our offering. Competition data is seamlessly integrated with our internal d3D Graphics Server or third-party graphics engines to provide sophisticated real-time 3D graphics outputs for live or post-production graphics. The outputs are available in HD and SD format and can be provided in various digital file formats for NLE editing stations, including AVID. Our solution also offers Remote Graphics Insertion were a pool of graphics engine in various locations can be driven by the same control interface and data, but in different designs and layouts.

MAGMA

The Match Analysis Graphics MAchine (MAGMA) is a tool to enable broadcasters to maximize the exploitation of the rich level 1, 2 and 3 sporting event statistics at their disposal in both live and in post match productions.

By easing the correlation of the statistics across multiple current events, and historical data, MAGMA realises the potential of building very interesting and relevant analysis, and presenting this analysis through rich full screen or key-able graphics, ideal for the post match programmes and magazine shows.

Media Asset Management

By combining the competition data with metadata from in-house and third-party logging tools, deltatre can offer a sophisticated digital asset management system to aid broadcasters in the live and post production process. The deltatre Media Asset Management System (d3MAM) manages the process from start to finish by using a combination of in-house and third-party technologies, including EVS, to provide broadcasters with an end-to-end solution for ingesting, logging, searching, editing and playing back video for live broadcast.

Info Channels

Another highly advantageous product of combining the competition data and metadata from internal and external sources is the deltatre Commentator Information System (d3CIS). Using this system, commentators would be aided by extensive relevant statistical data presented in an intuitive rich information channel. This channel could be made available in either a passive mode, feeding commentators with a continuous stream of relevant live data via television monitors, or in an active mode, allowing the commentator to interact with the data through a touch screen interface.

Studio Graphics Systems

The deltatre Studio Graphics System brings together one or more of the above systems into an integrated solution for TV production. Competition data is manipulated and integrated into attractive TV Graphic designs to drive informative presentation graphics and Commentator Information Systems in live studio-based productions.
