Sportel is the International Sports Convention for Television and New Media that took place from 10 to 13 October at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco attracting over 2,300 participants from almost 70 countries.
deltatre’s stand was visited by many executives in search of innovations for the sports media industry. We showcased our sports technologies including the latest digital media solution DIVA: the ultimate combination of live video & data to broadcast sports events on pc, tablets and smartphones.
Rights-holders, content owners and delegates were able to see DIVA in action and experiment the engagement of sport video and synchronised data. Moreover they could get some insights on the present and future of how to deliver an engaging holistic user experience to sport fans all over the world across all platforms.
Ciaran Quinn, deltatre’s Director, ran the conference “Olympic Games - The Lean-Forward Revolution in Sports”. With first level speakers and a sold out hall, the conference session was a great opportunity to discuss the future of broadcasting the Olympic Games offering fans a multiplatform and connected experience.
