Ref. WinDev02 - Desktop Applications Senior Developer
Project: Complex software development program (composed by multiple inter-dependent projects).
Profile:
We are looking for an experienced application developer (> 5 years), specialized in desktop applications on a Microsoft-based development environment. His/Her role will be part of a small team of developers, understanding the technical and functional complexity of the project.
We will also consider applications from less senior candidates, provided that they can demonstrate the willingness and commitment to learn and increase their knowledge in the identified areas. Less senior candidates should be prepared to work under the guidance and mentoring of a senior consultant until they have reached an appropriate level of seniority.
Required Skills:
- Desktop applications expertise (VB6, .NET Framework WinForm programming in VB.NET and C#)
- Good knowledge of XML, XSLT and XPath
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server (2005 and 2008 versions) and T-SQL syntax (more advanced knowledge is preferable)
- Good knowledge of WPF would be an advantage
- Experience with ASP.NET development would be an advantage
Good understanding of written English is mandatory, fluent verbal and written English is preferable.
Location: Turin HQ.
Contract Type: full-time, to be defined.
