deltatre media are currently looking to recruit new staff on a part time basis. deltatre staff will be working within the sport & media industry, providing services to television broadcasters and major sporting federations, in a live TV environment. The successful applicant can expect to have exposure to the Barclays Premier League, other English and Scottish Football Leagues for a leading UK broadcaster and potentially UEFA Champions League.

There are a number of part-time roles available with deltatre media, including Events Assistants (a role which will primarily be based on live stats collection) and an Intern position in 2010. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be available for work during weekends and evenings. The successful applicant must be flexible and prepared to work occasional long hours.

Candidates should have a good knowledge of all sport, with particular emphasis on football. A proven interest in the broadcast sector is also beneficial. Candidates should be intelligent, enthusiastic and inquisitive and be comfortable working with graphic engines and software. An ability to acquire technical skills and understand bespoke applications quickly is a must. Candidates should also be equally comfortable working as part of a team or alone and should be confident and comfortable in client facing situations.

Technical attributes:

  • Candidates should be computer literate and thoroughly confident with windows operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of database management and graphical output would be advantageous.

Commitment:

Part-time shifts are scheduled in accordance to the requirements of the broadcaster and can at times be limited; however, if the candidate excels there is the potential for greater opportunities working within all areas of operations. The 2010 Intern position will be for 3 days per week, which may include weekends, for 4 months beginning on the 1st August, 2010. The successful candidate will also be considered for further part-time work should the opportunity present itself.
