Ref. Silverlight3 - Silverlight Software Specialist

Profile: We are looking for an experienced Silverlight developer with proven skills both in C# programming and in advanced GUI implementation.
A deep knowledge of the Silverlight 3 platform is requested, along with: experience on RIA principles targeted to performance, optimization and LOB applications; familiarity with Expression Blend 3 for XAML-based GUIs design; capability in sketching user interfaces layout parts in wireframes by using tools like Microsoft Visio or Axure.
Additionally, a good knowledge of the Smooth Streaming technology and of the Silverlight Media Framework (SMF) will be appreciated.
The ideal candidate also owns: a good proactivity and creativity in proposing new ideas; a strong attention to details; the ability to work as part of a team and to contribute in the team’s overall efforts and goals; the ability to work on several assignments at once and to complete projects on time.

Required Skills:
Proper use of Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Expression Blend for Silverlight development.

Knowledge of the following Silverlight topics:

• Shapes, Paths, Geometries, Transforms, Storyboards, Styles, Templates, Custom controls
• User experience optimization, Asynchronous and multithreaded programming
• Data access and data binding; MVVM pattern adoption
• Application modularization, localization, globalization
• Browser and HTML integration, Isolated storage, RIA web analytics, Networking

Knowledge of SSME and SMF constitutes a valued "plus" in the candidates selection.

Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Good understanding of written English is mandatory, fluent verbal and written English is preferable.

Development Environment: Microsoft based.

Location: Turin HQ.

Contract Type: full-time, to be defined.
