How Deltatre delivered a solution to Major League Baseball that transformed content consumption for fans


In late 2018, MLB had a problem. The incumbent publishing platform used by the league had been sold and, with the new season fast approaching, they needed to find a new, reliable publishing platform for its digital properties – and fast.

The new platform also had to meet the unique demands of an international sports organization. More than 1,400 editorial operators across the MLB ecosystem relied on the platform to create and publish up to 5,000 pieces of unique content a day – including MiLB properties and affiliate partners. When it came to onboarding and ease of use, there was little margin for error.

With six months to go before Opening Day, MLB selected us as the partner to replace its legacy system. Our sport-focused publishing platform, FORGE, also used by the NFL, European Tour, and many others, was the clear winner.
