Live Streaming Operator (on-call employement/casual hours)

Broadcast & Live Operations
Italy

Position

Do you have a passion for live video streaming? Do you thrive when the pressure is on and the stakes are high?

We are looking for collaborators to play the Live Streaming Operators role supporting our Italian team based in Turin. This isn't your typical 9-to-5 desk job, this is the front line of live streaming. If you’re tech-savvy and love the thrill of "going live," we want to hear from you.

This is the perfect role for a freelancer or student looking to build serious industry experience in live media production without being tied to a rigid weekday schedule.

Reporting to the Event Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our live production environment. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving the Stream: Performing high-stakes video streaming operations for live events.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring every frame is perfect and the output is flawless.
  • Communication: Acting as the bridge between us and the client, as well as escalating technical issues to higher-tier support teams.
  • Problem Solving: Making quick, confident decisions to keep the show running when things get intense.
  • This role is on-call and highly flexible. Because sports and live events don’t happen on a schedule, you shouldn't either. You’ll need to be available for:
  • Weekends and late nights (including overnights).
  • Short-notice shifts when the action happens.
  • Working directly from our Turin office.

We don’t expect you to know everything already! You will be trained and supported by our existent team and will get the chance to shadow senior operators before being at the center of the event!

Requirements

  • Tech Prowess: You’re comfortable with computers and are familiar with how online video streaming works.
  • Cool Under Pressure: You enjoy fast-paced environments and don't sweat the small stuff.
  • Clear Communicator: You can explain technical glitches clearly and professionally.
  • Additional qualifications: A degree in Science/Tech is a plus, and if you’re a sports fanatic, you’ll fit right in.
  • Ability to work unsociable hours (late nights, including overnight, and weekends).
  • Ability to work on-site from Turin.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • driven to push the boundaries and lead change and performance
  • communicative to leave no-one in the dark and to work with your team successfully
  • reliable so we know that we can call on you to meet deadlines
  • passionate about the latest technologies and standards
  • proactive to suggest improvements, identify and fix potential issues
  • solid technically speaking, to advise both Clients and internal teams

Our people are key to our success and we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic, creative, innovative and supportive environment. Having the right combination of a 'can-do' approach, strong work ethic, integrity, friendliness and attention to detail is crucial.

Even if you don’t tick all the boxes for one particular role, but you have a keen interest in what we do, send us your details, we may find a suitable match during the interview process.
