Deltatre in three words: Friendly, collaborative, uplifting
I’m originally from Twickenham, South West London. Having been born into a very sporty family, I naturally played many sports as I grew up and then went on to study Sports Science at Loughborough University. I started my career in sports administration, moving across into the business world for a conference and exhibitions company in the technology sector, and then several marketing communications roles within the world of telecoms and IT. I have finally worked out how to combine my love of sport and tech by working at Deltatre.
I am mainly responsible for Deltatre’s presence at tradeshows and conferences along with organizing events that we invite clients, prospects, and journalists to, such as technology showcases, client parties, or press briefings. My day is incredibly varied – as well as lots of emails, phone calls, Zoom meetings, and plenty of Excel spreadsheets, I also produce our key internal company meetings called Global Gatherings.
My typical tasks include negotiating partnerships with event organizers; working with our stand builders on the production side including walls, furnishings, and messaging; ensuring our commercial teams all turn up at the right places at the right time for industry events and planning the logistics for internal and external webinars.
One of my favorite events in recent times was IBC 2019, which is held annually in Amsterdam. It was a great example of teamwork as we worked together to get our stand built and demos set up, our sales and marketing teams were on hand to present, and our clients and prospects joined us on the stand and at our evening event. As well as the incredible work we produced, it was also great to spend time with amazing colleagues and friends.
I have lots of hobbies! I play tennis regularly at a club and try to swim at least twice a week. But I also love singing and am part of two choirs – one classical and one focused on musicals. My other passion though is my dog – I have a working cocker spaniel so am out walking her come rain or shine.

Global Events Lead
I decided that my next role had to be sport-related, so when I saw a job at Deltatre; a company that combined sport and technology, I jumped at the chance and took a maternity cover role for a year. That was in 2014 and I’ve never looked back.
I love hearing about our clients and being able to show friends and family all the incredibly cool work we do with them. I am proud to work for Deltatre.
I have learnt so much about the business of sport and that my main passion workwise is indeed in event production. Clearly Covid has hit events hard but focusing on what we can do rather than what we can’t has helped us evolve what we produce, and it has given me the opportunity to again learn new things in the world of virtual events.
We hire great people. We have such smart people that are all passionate about entertainment, TV, or sport. It’s a winning combination as we want it to work, being fans ourselves.
It’s an exciting future-looking industry, constantly seeking the next innovation. Our company is full of talented people that are all passionate about what we do.
I just love the way that technology, whether it be connected to sport, TV or film is fundamentally able to impact people’s lives. It can change how people feel day to day. It’s great to be part of that positive change.
