We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our highly skilled Platform Infrastructure team.

In this role, you’ll work in a flexible and fast-moving environment alongside passionate engineers to design, build, and evolve the tools and processes that power our multi-cloud platform. You’ll help product development teams deliver and operate their services efficiently, focusing on automation, scalability, and operational excellence.

Our infrastructure is built and managed using Terraform and Ansible, while leveraging cloud-native and SaaS solutions to keep our operational footprint lean and maintainable.

This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative spirit. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, self-service infrastructure patterns that increase security and reduce friction for engineering teams.
• Operational Excellence: Own the strategy for monitoring, alerting, and security instrumentation, ensuring our application stack is resilient enough for millions of concurrent viewers.
• Mentorship & Best Practices: Coach junior/mid-level engineers and promote platform solutions across the wider organization.
• Platform Evolution: Evaluate and integrate emerging cloud-native technologies to keep our operational footprint lean and with low cost of ownership.
• Incident Management: Provide high-level expertise during complex production issues, conducting thorough post-mortems to drive systemic improvements.

For this role you must be able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 1 day per week working in our office based in Skopje.

• Expert-Level Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Production-hardened experience with Terraform at scale.
• Cloud Architecture: Extensive experience architecting on AWS, with a specific focus on high-availability and multi-region deployments.
• Java Ecosystem Mastery: Proven track record of troubleshooting Java applications in high-traffic production environments.
• Advanced Networking: Solid grasp of HTTP/S, DNS, Load Balancing, and VPC peering within a containerized world.
• Container Orchestration: Extensive hands-on experience managing and scaling Fargate, Kubernetes (EKS), or similar container orchestration platforms.
• CI/CD Vision: Experience designing and optimizing complex CI/CD pipelines that prioritize both speed and safety.
• Automation & Tooling: Proficient in Python for developing internal platform tools, alongside expert-level Bash for automating system tasks and enhancing our CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-First Mindset: Experience integrating security best practices (IAM, encryption, secret management) directly into the automation lifecycle.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical partners.
