Technical Recruiter North Macedonia Hub (Skopje)
People
North Macedonia
Position
For this role you must be able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 1 day per week working in our office based in Skopje.
Deltatre is scaling its presence in North Macedonia, and we need a sharp technical recruiter who speaks the language of devs and knows how to close top talent. This isn't a role where you'll be left on an island. You will be a key pillar of our global Talent Acquisition team of four, reporting directly to the Group Head of Talent Acquisition in Europe.
You'll be joining a tight-knit global TA team of four - and you're the one who brings us to five. This means you get the best of both worlds: the autonomy to drive the end-to-end process in North Macedonia, and the strategic support of a seasoned European leadership team.
This role is specifically designed to manage our talent operations within the North Macedonia hub, providing a bridge between local expertise and global strategy.
In Skopje, you'll work alongside our local People Team and collaborate closely with our Country Manager, who takes an active interest in our growth and supports the Talent Acquisition team in the final validation of top-tier candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Hub: Drive the full recruitment lifecycle for North Macedonia, ensuring a high-quality pipeline in a competitive IT market, strengthening Deltatre's employer brand and market positioning by inputting ideas and proposing initiatives, and aligning to global processes and rules of engagement.
- Global Collaboration: Work daily with the Group Head and three fellow recruiters to align on global sourcing standards and branding.
- Smart Sourcing: Don't just post and pray. Evaluate, experiment, and improve recruitment techniques to find the "hidden gems." Build a high-quality pipeline of tech profiles, identifying the perfect match for our unique job specifications.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate feels the "Deltatre difference" through a friendly, professional, and unique journey.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in tech recruitment with a can-do attitude. Open to working on corporate roles as well.
- Fluency in English is non-negotiable for your daily collaboration with the European teammates.
- A networker: you love the hunt and stay ahead of tech trends with a finger on the pulse of market shifts.
- Clean data, no excuses: keeping your pipeline and candidate records accurate and up to date isn't admin, it's the job. Our stats depend on it, and so does the team's ability to cover for you when you're out and collaborate with you on shared roles across the geography.
- Curious about AI: genuine interest in how AI tools are changing recruitment, and a willingness to try them out rather than wait for someone else to figure it out first.
- Hybrid ready: at least 1 day a week in our Skopje office. You must be willing and able to attend the office as required.
Who Thrives Here
You're the local expert in a global machine - close enough to the Skopje market to spot talent others miss, plugged in enough to the wider team to know what "great" looks like across Deltatre. People who do well here treat a messy pipeline as a problem to fix, not a fact of life, and they're just as comfortable pitching a new sourcing idea in a team call as they are closing a candidate one-on-one.
This also isn't a role for someone who sees data entry as beneath them. Keeping your pipeline and candidate records clean and current is part of doing the job well, not an afterthought - our stats, and the whole team's ability to cover for each other, depend on it. Curiosity is non-negotiable too - about the market, about the tools, about what's changing in tech hiring right now.
