Sportec Solutions, a joint venture between Deltatre and the DFL, has been appointed as the official data service provider for the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, as well as 3. Liga – Germany’s third division.
The extension to the partnership with the DFB, which provides a wide range of data services across matches for Germany’s national youth teams, the women’s and men’s national teams as well as DFB Cup matches, will see Sportec Solutions cover an additional 512 games per season at its data center in Munich from the start of the 2023/24 season.
By working with Sportec Solutions, the DFB retains full control of the data gathered for both Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga and 3. Liga matches, with all match data visualized in the DFB’s Match Analysis Hub.
Sportec Solutions also provides match data services for all Bundesliga matches via its partnership with the DFL.
Christian Holzer, Managing Director, Sportec Solutions, said:
"We are very proud to extend our partnership with the DFB and to be able to capture and refine the official match data of the 3. Liga and Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga. We are convinced that our technology will help to further advance the development of both leagues, benefiting fans, players, coaches and analysts."
Manuel Hartmann, Managing Director Match Operations, DFB GmbH & Co. KG, said:
“The deepened cooperation with Sportec Solutions will result in a significant upgrade of both the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga and the 3. Liga. The wider availability of comprehensive data for all participating clubs from the coming season paves the way for general professionalization. It's hugely important for us to constantly expand our services for clubs and coaches to provide them with added value that will benefit the development of our competitions in the long term."
