Tanay Dangayach is a Product Owner for our AXIS Reference Applications. "I, along with the scrum team, keep enhancing our AXIS ref app product with the latest set of features and technologies, so that it is exciting for existing as well as new clients."

When did you join Deltatre, and which hub are you based in?

“I joined Deltatre in March 2023, and I am based in our India hub in Mumbai.”

What does a typical day look like in this role?

“My typical day is a mixture of meetings, detailing the tasks required for the team, solving ad hoc blockers and, in between that, having a couple of espresso shots & chats with the team.

On a daily basis, I manage different aspects with our agile team (a mix of developers, testers, designers & a scrum master), including assessing our project and prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration with project delivery & sales teams.

My day starts with our team stand-up call where we align our daily priorities and highlight risks. After this, I move on to maintaining our backlog according to the needs of the clients, end user and Deltatre’s delivery and commercial teams.

My aim is to add business value for clients on a daily basis by assessing metrics, writing detailed user stories and prioritizing work in the backlog.

At the end of the day, I check in with my team to see if there are any unresolved issues, and if there are not, I shut my laptop and hit the gym!!”

Project spotlight...

“I recently worked on the latest release of AXIS ref apps, which was a significant & much awaited release as it had two major highlights, as well as various other small enhancements & upgrades...

The first highlight was the MVP release of our very good-looking Hero Row which will help boost engagement of the most prominent and high-value app content as it gives various aspects to add/remove badges, images, CTAs, tagline, logos & more. A direct result of our client feedback - they asked, we delivered!

The second was a step towards providing a more integrated offering of Deltatre products.

Our aim is always to make ref apps more desirable from both the operators and end users’ point of view.

My favourite part about this release was managing the delivery across seven platforms simultaneously. We experience a unique set of challenges with every platform, but that's what makes the journey more fulfilling.”

Does your hub have any fun traditions?

"In our Mumbai hub, we are often celebrating different festivals. You will find many pictures of our celebrations on Instagram via @deltatreofficial. Those days are always filled with fun, laughter and good food!"

Can you tell us anything about any upcoming projects?

"We are currently working on a very exciting project which involves the modernisation of our reference apps architecture. This project will allow our AXIS reference apps to more efficiently and flexibly meet the needs of our clients and in turn the demands of their audiences."

What gets you most excited about Deltatre’s future?

"The opportunities we get here at Deltatre to work with the largest sports federations keeps me excited. Deltatre thrives thanks to an agile mindset and transformative technologies.

All of this gives me a conducive environment to learn and contribute."
