Chris Mike and Darren Grimstead join the company in senior commercial roles to grow the reach of Deltatre’s award-winning streaming and digital products
Deltatre, the global leader in digital, streaming and data technology for media and sport, today announces two key appointments to its team in North America.
Chris Mike has joined the company as Senior Vice President Business Development, U.S. Sports, while Darren Grimstead has joined as Vice President Media & Telco Sales, North America.
Mike, previously Marketing Director at Nike, joins Deltatre after stints in senior commercial roles at software companies including Relo Metrics and Opal, and will oversee efforts to grow the adoption of Deltatre’s product suite (DIVA, AXIS, FORGE and D3 VOLT) among sports leagues, teams and federations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Grimstead joins Deltatre after holding senior commercial roles at Bitmovin and thePlatform – now part of Comcast Technology Solutions – where he worked closely with a range of tier 1 media and entertainment companies. His appointment is another key part of Deltatre’s push to underpin the global media and entertainment industry with its streaming and digital products.
Since launching its North American operation in 2016, Deltatre has significantly grown its footprint in the region, and now works with several premium streaming platforms, including BritBox and Sportsnet+. It also powers the digital ecosystem for four of the five biggest sports leagues in the region, including the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, and the National Hockey League.
