Challenge

With a billion fans watching from the first kick of the ball, there is no room for error on events like UEFA Euro 2024. Every element, from brand, sponsors, players, teams, timing, results, and official statistics must be accurate, highly available, and perfectly consistent. From the 10 host stadia, the IBC in Liepzi, and our remote operations center in Turin, Deltatre brought decades of experience and expertise and our passion for soccer, to once again deliver a flawless services for UEFA.

Our Solution

Our football platform, both for data gathering and graphic playout has delivered thousands of matches for UEFA across multiple competitions. This workflow was upgraded for 2024 and deployed for UEFA Euro 2024. With data gathering operations managed from Turin, our class-leading voice recognition data collection software was used to gather official match data. Our graphics teams were deployed at the stadia to work directly with the host broadcaster to manage all match day captions, with synchronous multi-language feeds triggered from our server farm in Leipzig. Our engineering, support and governance team oversaw all service strands from the IBC and were the beating heart of a hugely successful delivery.

What Deltatre provided

We delivered live match graphics, for every game in both HD and UHD, and in multiple languages, ensuring top-tier visuals for global fans. Our service included comprehensive data gathering to support accurate and engaging content. We handled venue feeds production, catering to both giant screens and hospitality areas, enhancing the viewing experience for all attendees.

Supporting the production we delivered our commentator information system both locally and digitally, along with a robust VAR Information system, providing critical support for accurate decision-making during events. Additionally, we managed the delivery of printouts, ensuring all official documentation was delivered quickly and accurately.

To support our operations, our OPC team, based in Leipzig, provided expert oversight and coordination, ensuring seamless execution of all services.
