I chose this career path because...

I think I can help people to grow their skills to improve their performance by using my knowledge of the industry – and they teach me as well!

I always describe my job as…

a wonderful one. We’re a company that has always ‘thought big’.

My friends and family always describe my job as...

"computer work". My father, all smiling and happy, usually brings me his newspaper every time he finds some news related to sports and the world of Deltatre.

During ‘normal’ times, I start the day by...

getting the kids ready for school. I wake up early in the morning and when I finally join my colleagues for their first coffee, I'm already on my third one.

An ordinary day at work goes like this...

I plan project activities and coordinate the team by scheduling and attending meetings, sending emails, handling any technical communication with the client and/or some third parties, etc. Even if it’s a front-end project, the team is involved in configuring infrastructures, microservices architecture, design, user experience, security, quality checks and so on.

I know it’s been a good day when...

I need to find a good reason to leave the office (and I have two little ones at home) because I'd like to stay there longer.

Outside of work, I like to…

spend time with my family, take walks, do a puzzle, or bake a cake with my children.

A song that tends to get me in the zone is…

I don't actually listen to music when I'm working because unconsciously I follow words and the rhythm and I find it distracting. However, sometimes I need to do it and classical music can help to relax me. Piano usually works for me!

I am passionate about…

technology. I like the idea of using technology to help people and as a way to have fun and chill out. In particular, I'm fascinated by speech recognition and the communication between different devices (e.g. Chromecast) and I spend my time looking for new features and new tricks related to them.

To me, the definition of success is…

when a person loves their job they will never work a day in their life. I'm almost there.

I’m excited about the future of...

entertainment (both sports and TV on demand). Over the years, I’ve watched these platforms change so much already and I can't wait to continue to see them evolve over the coming years.
