I honestly cannot say! I consider myself to be quite a communicative person, so I guess people know a lot about me...
I wanted to work in an international company where the quality of the work is the most important thing. I also wanted to work and lead teams to deliver the best results and be part of a company where I would be trusted. Finally, it was very important for me to be able to work remotely due to my lifestyle – thankfully I managed to find a career path with all these qualities!
Being a help for anyone who needs me.
“We have a manager for a big company among us!”
Exercising and helping with the project I’m managing.
I get up at 6am, make a coffee and check the emails, then I do my work-out and have a shower. After that, I run meetings, work on some reports, support my team, take part in catch-ups, communicate with our client, and do some planning.
I then get some lunch and continue with the above! When I finish work, I tend to have my laptop open in the evening as our client is five hours behind us. I also spend some time with my partner who is also very busy and later we often cook Italian dinner and chill out.
I receive positive feedback from my team, and I know the client is happy.
Make sure to find a work-life balance. I find it hard to switch off sometimes, but I try to follow the advice!
Bake and take care of my plants. And sewing is a new hobby!
For an international song it’s Take Me Home, Country Roads, by John Denver. But my true favorite is a song from my country called Sloboda by Billy Barman. It’s a cover of a traditional song updated for modern times and I find it breath-taking.
Being happy! It really is that simple.
To sit down on your sofa, look around you and feel the warmth! It’s to acknowledge that feeling that whispers to you about how blessed you are to be alive, to enjoy your work, and to love your life.
Every single challenge. It might be difficult or exhausting, but I think of it like climbing a mountain. Just as I may not feel ready to climb a mountain in, for example, Slovakia, it’s worthwhile to look at the bigger picture and focus on how good it will feel not only once I’m at the top, but also on my journey to get there. So, let’s see which mountain tomorrow will bring!
