Deltatre and Sceenic join forces to offer the first Watch Together experience with an enhanced interactive timeline

Deltatre, the leader in fan-first experience, today announces it has integrated Sceenic’s Watch Together feature into its industry-leading OTT video player DIVA. This collaboration is the first in the market to offer live event support with an enhanced interactive timeline synchronized across a Watch Together session.

Sceenic’s Watch Together mode creates a virtual viewing party with up to four attendees, allowing the group to video chat whilst synchronizing playback in a shared viewing session. Deltatre is incorporating this functionality and integrating a range of additional features to offer users an enhanced, seamless experience. This includes integrating a range of key DIVA features, most notably DIVA’s enhanced interactive timeline.

Particularly popular for live sports events, this uses real-time data to highlight key moments in live events, mark them on the timeline and allow users to jump to specific moments without searching, minimizing friction across the user experience.

This new feature enables clients to utilize the specialist expertise offered by Sceenic as part of their DIVA integration. Deltatre can offer the Watch Together feature as a new licensable add-on to new and existing DIVA clients, without any custom integrations required.
