Deltatre can today announce that it has hired James Johnson as VP, Americas Business Development, LIVE Division

As part of his role, James will be responsible for continuing to grow the adoption of Deltatre’s live production, broadcast and digital services across the United States, Canada and Latin America. He will assume responsibility for delivering value to new and existing clients across the region and ensuring they are provided with the technology solutions that suit their needs.

James joins Deltatre from Major League Baseball, where he spent close to 14 years. During his time there he held several key positions including Manager of Broadcast Engineering. Most recently he served as Vice President, Broadcast Services and Production.

Previously, James spent time working as Video Coordinator at the Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Team, as well as the Manager of Video Coaching for the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox.

Commenting on his appointment, James Johnson said: “I’m delighted to join Deltatre at an extremely exciting time for our industry. I’m looking forward to helping the company grow, using my experience to ensure our clients can provide pioneering and memorable viewing experiences to their users through Deltatre’s rich storytelling capabilities.”

In his new role, James will be based primarily out of Deltatre’s New York office, reporting to Stefan Eric Wildemann.

The past 18 months has seen significant growth for Deltatre across the region, most recently having deployed a new publishing platform across MLB digital properties and partnering with SNEAKY BIG to deliver a bespoke TV graphics solution for college basketball.
