Visits from wrestlers, royalty, and superheroes as we celebrate a great year

We love a party at Deltatre. Following the success of our Summer of Love event in July where we all got together to toast the first half of the year, the elves have been hard at work to create a truly special evening to thank the team in the UK for their hard work and dedication.

We took the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch by storm, with 160 colleagues gracing the beautiful rooftop space as their film or sport star alter ego.

The wet Friday night in December was quickly brightened by the influx of fantastically thought-out and expertly executed costumes, ranging from the Queen and Mugatu (Zoolander), to WWE wrestlers, Eddie the Eagle, and superheroes old and new.

The teams arrived in style on Santa’s sleigh (or coach to you and me) raring to get the party started. The fairy-lit rooms and festive theming had the suitable wow factor, not forgetting the fridges dotted around the venue stocked with drinks which were a particular crowdpleaser.

We were really lucky to have amazing views of the city skyline from the seventh floor terrace, accompanied by delicious canapés, lashings of wine, and a suitably festive playlist to match. The glass-walled dancefloor was filled with some questionable shapes being thrown as we partied the night away into the small hours.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who organized, supported, and attended the 2019 spectacular, and the effort put into compiling your costumes – so impressive!
