Highlights

  • [03:44] Mota on fans' consumption habits post-lockdown: "...what we have noticed in the past six months is a shift in habits when it comes to consuming content. Fans are not necessarily tuning in during live events, but access a variety of other forms, from highlights to original content... In addition to that, one of the biggest trends right now is user-generated content. It's becoming something that we are really focusing on to celebrate fans around the world."
  • [19:07] Pete on personalized digital experiences: "I think personalization is key... At a digital level, it's really about engaging with the fan. And to that extent, knowing who that fan is and how best to then engage with that fan once you start to know who they are. And obviously, that journey of building that direct to fan relationship is exactly that... You're going to start with very little in it and it's going to grow over time."
  • [26:07] Mota on what's on the horizon in the next 12 months: "...one of the quotes that I use for our team here is that the champions are made off season. So I believe we can use this period really to prepare for the next year – to come back with a lot more new stuff, a lot stronger, and a lot better at delivering the best experiences."
